4 Reasons Why Mornings are Better for your Sweat Sesh

May this be your inspiration to keep taking back the morning, y’all!

1.// Get smart for the day: Exercise can actually increase mental focus for up to ten hours, post-workout. 🤓💪 That means if you’re squeezing in a sweat sesh after work or dinner you’re potentially not taking full advantage of those ten hours (well, I mean, unless it helps with having really idea-sparking dreams? IDK. Maybs?).

2.// Get happier for the day: The mood-boosting endorphins released by exercise can last for hours. So if you time your active power hour in the gym (or dancefloor, backyard, bedroom, etc) for the 5 -9AM hours 😉, seems to us like you could use your good mood to make work feel easier, win new friends and have more fun. Like, while you’re awake.

3.// Morning Workouts Help You Stay Consistent: most people have a much better chance of completing a workout in the morning, rather than leaving it to the fate of after-work time, when other opportunities can easily kick those six little words — “I gotta go to the gym” — to the curb. TBH, it’s rare that something will steal your attention at 6 or 7am, am I right?

4.// Cardiovascu-YES: Working out in the morning can actually increase the impact that cardio exercises have on the heart. In the morning, your body actually increases your levels of adrenaline to help wake you up, making your heart beat faster. So if you’re also doing cardio, you’re getting your heart rate up that much more. A natural HIIT.

Wowza. Puts a whole new meaning to the phrase, “good morning.” Can we have a quick OJ toast to the AM hours, rn? *clink!* 🍊 Kewl. OK we’re off to get our morning sweat. Come with?
