Meet Lilly Wang!

She’s one of Daybreaker’s two Boston producers, and she’s a total boss. She radiates light and energy in every word and action, and lives for her communities. When she’s not throwing epic dance parties across the city, she’s a community and events manager at TiE-Boston during the day, and an avid seeker of music-oriented shows, dance parties, and events by night. What are you rocking in your headphones these days?

A mix of dance pop, G house, and ABBA (always).

What’s hot in your city right now?

Hiking and  (it’s Pats season!).

What are you obsessing over on the internet?

Fitness Marshall videos. Like this one. 😂

What gets you out of bed happiest in the morning?

The prospect of a delicious breakfast.

Do you have a morning routine?

I usually play music and wiggle around in bed. I try to stay away from alarms. I like picking my own wake up song every morning, usually the track I’m listening to on repeat that week.

If you could give one piece of advice to a young person trying to figure out how to pursue their passion and do what they love, what would it be?

Live with a bottom line of love. Keep trying things until you find what it is that lights YOU up, the thing that you can’t stop talking about. Once you find it, surround yourself with people who energize and support you. Having a great team makes everything easier when challenges arise.
